After a twelve-hour day, the last thing I wanted to do was go to a junior-high band concert–but there I was, and believe it or not, I thoroughly enjoyed it.  The concert was entertaining, the children were brilliant and the music was energizing.  I couldn’t have picked a better way to spend the evening.  North Dakota has some truly talented musicians, both for performing and for leading (and teaching).

When I got home, I realized I had still time to browse the headlines.  I found this link at Bismarck Tribune’s site to a completely different set of North Dakota bands, and I thought I should share.
