The North Dakota Legislature is gearing up for the 2009 legislative session, which will occur mostly in the first quarter of the year.  A three-day organizational session begins today (December 1, 2008).  Items on the agenda include everything from where the legislators will sit to the presentation of the Governor’s budget on December 3.

Information about the 61st legislative session and this brief organizational session can be found at the North Dakota Legislative Branch web site.

I always enjoy the legislative session, being a geek and all that. It’ll be fun to take my little guys up there to see things!
