North Dakota’s wind energy industry is moving forward.  According to this Minot Daily News article, site development for a 149 megawatt wind farm near Rugby, North Dakota could begin as soon as October 1.  The construction of 71 wind turbines will occur next summer. 

The project will add to the local economy by bringing in a few full-time jobs as well as royalties paid to landowners who own the land the wind turbines will be built on.
