I was very pleased to see this post from Top Stocks.  It’s dated–it was posted in April–but when I read it this morning it renewed the idea that the Bakken oil formation is being carefully watched by investors.

There is a little bad news for the oil industry in North Dakota.  I heard on the radio this morning that lack of transmission infrastructure may hurt our ability to continue drilling in the Bakken area.

Perhaps investors will begin to look at building more pipelines and rail infrastructure so we can get the Bakken sweet crude to the rest of the nation.
