John Hanson of Logging Camp Ranch near Amidon/Bowman, North Dakota was featured in a New York Times article on eco-tourism yesterday.  I’m thrilled.

Besides running Logging Camp Ranch, Hanson owns and operates Ponderosa Pine Log Company.  This business grew out of a devastating fire on his property; Hanson, a true North Dakota entrepreneur, turned it into something positive. 

Logging Camp Ranch is located in one of the most beautiful wooded areas of the state.  It’s worth a visit even if you’re not a hunter.
