One exit west of the Seven Seas motel in Mandan is a small cluster of buildings.  To the south of I-94 is a truck stop/restaurant.  To the North is Roby’s Supper Club, serving some of the best beef in the state.  There’s also Interstate Western Works Western Emporium, a retail western store that also offers repair for saddles and boots.

Besides a few scattered houses, that’s about it.  With Bismarck and Mandan growing so much on the edges, I wonder how long it will take before new houses and businesses pop up to join the few already there.  I imagine this could be a great spot for commercial enterprises.

One thing about it: the location works well for the businesses that are there.  Western Works has been in business at this location for 25 years.
