A recent article published by the Public News Service has good news:  North Dakota’s public lands brings $232 million into the state each year.

The people who live and work here already know that North Dakota has some great outdoor opportunities.  The fact that it adds so significantly to our economy isn’t a surprise, either.  Tourism is the second largest industry in the state, and hunting and fishing play a part in that.
