<description>The best way to walk this trail is to leave a car at either end. The trailhead on the north end is easiest to find: turn off I-94 by Bonanza, follow the road all the way around and under I-94, then take the first right on the gravel road.

The south end isn't much more tricky, just well hidden. Take the McKenzie Drive exit from the Expy, go back around past Moritz and under the Memorial Bridge. Take the first left and follow it until it ends. There's a little place to park at the trailhead. It's private property but the signs indicate that trail users are welcome.

This is a beautiful trail and open year 'round, as it's popular with cross country skiers.
