Fariborz Boor Boor, chief executive officer for Enova Medical Technologies, paid North Dakota a high compliment Friday during a meeting of the Centers of Excellence Commission.
The commission was hearing proposals for the next round of Centers of Excellence economic development projects. Boor Boor was there to speak on one of the proposals, a partnership that could bring the biomedical device industry to Minot, North Dakota.
When asked why he would consider North Dakota as a place to open a business branch, Boor Boor said he had worked with North Dakota people for about 20 years. He touted the engineers Enova had hired from both University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University. He also said the company had hired a CFO from Minot.
“I know the talent is here,” Boor Boor said.
